About ACRA
The African Continental Remanufacturers Association (ACRA) is a non-profit industry association established to promote, represent and grow the remanufacturing sector across Africa.
While Africa’s markets are diverse, they face shared challenges: rising waste volumes, limited manufacturing capacity and the need for sustainable economic growth. ACRA was created to respond to these challenges by supporting remanufacturing as a locally driven, skills-based industrial activity.
ACRA’s initial focus is on printer cartridge remanufacturing, where reuse and remanufacturing offer immediate environmental and economic benefits. Over time, ACRA will expand its scope in line with industry needs and regional opportunities.
